Security Window Overview

Table 1. Province specific Security fields and buttons.

Security Field or Button	Province	Description
Prescriber Type	British Columbia	Indicates what type of prescriber the user is (i.e., pharmacist, nurse practitioner).
GPID	British Columbia	Used for documenting the user's GPID. This is required for PharmaNet transactions.
APA	Alberta	Indicates if a pharmacist has APA designation or not. This checkbox is off by default when a new user is created. Only the ADM and Pharmacy Manager user can edit this checkbox.
